Welcome to the Advanced course Learning Materials.
This student learning zone is designed to help you during your course,
feel free to use it as often as you need. We prefer your submissions to be sent to us as a word document, you will see a example template below. Microsoft Office is the obvious software for this, as an alternative we would recommend Open Office this is a free software package. It would also be helpful if you could save the word document in an Microsoft Office format (.doc). Help with PDF files PDF stands for Portable Document Format. It is a universal file format that displays the fonts, images, graphics and layout of a document, regardless of the application and platform used to create it. It ensures that a document on screen will look exactly the same when printed out. Downloading a document in this way saves time, money and resources, because there's no delay while you wait for the document to be posted to you and government departments do not need to print such large quantities of documents. Most
computers come with the free Adobe Reader ® software as standard.
If this isn't the case you may need to download the free PDF viewer from
the Adobe website. |
